All the axis are jittery, meaning you're not gonna touch anything, but they'll still show input from you on the PC. And it really is a comfy, beautiful thing to hold in your hands, but you're most likely gonna get the same experience as the most users of it right now. The thing is, since Logitech bought the Saitek, they went really bad with the quality of the electronics inside this pretty Hotas. I'm currently in a lawsuit because Logitech didn't want to return my money when I tried to return the X52 Pro which had a lot of issues. Oh yesss!!! You're better off buying something cheaper from any other company than buying the Saitek right now!
Get the T16000 if you want an acceptable experience now and an excellent experience later by upgrading the stick to the NXT.Įdit: If you only play space sims you may want to invest in HOSAS (dual sticks) rather than HOTAS (one stick and one throttle), as this generally gives you better control in space flight. My $0.02: Get the X52 if you want a good experience and want to stick with it. The X-52 stick does not work standalone, so unlike the T16000 you cannot buy the set and sell the stick later to upgrade. The recommended setup for people on a budget is generally the VKB NXT stick with the T16000 throttle (TWCS), so you could get the stick now and buy the throttle later, or buy the T16000 set now and get the NXT stick later. The only drawback: it will cost you around €150 for the standard version and it does not come with a throttle. I have owned the X52, X52 Pro, X55 and T16000 and the NXT beats them all hands-down. Wurminator has sort of a point: the VKB NXT stick is THE BEST option you can get, anything better will cost €400+.
